Leaving the site at Clapham, and not wanting just to return home straight away, we decided to visit the small market town of Settle.
Every weekend, the town is a Mecca for bikers and cyclists, who traditionally have visited the “Ye Old Naked Man Cafe” on the high street.
It is a pictureque town with some old and interesting buidings.
During July and August, the town has a Flowerpot Festival which is held in aid of charity. Many houses and businesses around the town take part. A selection of their creations are pictured below:
